The piece is “Waiting For You”
It is framed in medium/ dark wood frame. Frame size is 16x20 inches.
“Waiting For You” was created when I pruned my Naupaka plant and attempted to propagate it. So it is named waiting for you because when you plant something you have to wait to see it’s growth. It is named this way to represent waiting to see the growth literally and figuratively. But it’s also a play on the love story behind the two varieties of Naupaka. In myth the Naupaka represents two lovers who were forced to separate. So the name also has the meaning to have a steadfast love.
