This is a high quality, giclee art print. 
“Daydream” is from my own daydream of a Nihoa finch (endemic only to the island of Nihoa. One of the northwestern islands of Hawaiʻi uninhabited by people, but very populated by birds. 
My daydreams often lead me to imagining our native birds living safely here on the main islands.
The Nihoa finch eats from the Ilima flower. Sbd the pulelehua, or Kamehameha butterfly eats off the Naio tree ( which is the distant shrub in this piece.) 
With this piece I wanted to demonstrate how interconnected our native species are.
